Ancestral Wisdom In The Midst of Chaos and Confusion

Afrikans world wide are subjected to what Baba Dr. Oba T'Shaka calls Western Conceptual Incarceration which has truly "ruptured the autochthonous African traditions thereby making some Africans alien to their own cultures." (Babatunda Ayeleru)

Join us for the 13th Annual Maafa Kebuka, "Virtual Village" discussion dedicated to Afrikan Ancestral Healing.

This year’s gathering focuses on reclaiming ancestral wisdom as a stabilizing force during a global era of chaos and political upheaval for Black people. By reconnecting with the traditions of those who came before, we address intergenerational trauma and the emotional wounds of systemic oppression.

History proves that reclaiming identity is a strategic necessity: just as the Haitian Revolution utilized African spiritual traditions to defeat the French and establish the first Black republic in the West, we recognize that the strongest defense against an alien culture is the active practice of our own. Join us to move beyond displacement and find clarity through cultural continuity and holistic healing.

This year's theme: Ancestral Wisdom in the midst of Chaos and Confusion, which is an Ancient paradigm that is informed by the most ancient shrines of Meroe and Kush. As we continue with this dynamic process of Ancestral Remembrance, Recovery, Restoration, Revival, and Resistance we seek to extend the process to the Rebirth and Revitalization of Afrikan culture in the context of modernity in an Intergenerational Ritualistic process of healing the festering wounds of the MAAFA (Trans-Atlantic Slave System); and over 400 years of White Supremacy that has compromised the Mental, Physical, Economic, Environmental, and Spiritual sanctity of African people throughout the African World Community. Finally, it is  an ancient ritualistic system that is designed to Re-Awaken Ancestral DNA which will foster the powerful dynamic of “Ancestral Collective Consciousness”.
